Hi...I'm going to be coming to Brisbane on 19 November and will be staying for 3 months...I'm really going to miss not being in my classes and was hoping that I could find a class while I'm there...

I'm currently in Cabaret style classes, so I'd prefer that...but I'm willing to branch out...cuz I love to learn new things...

Anyone got good recommendations...and I'd prefer a class with reasonable rates...gonna be on a budget and I don't want to stretch my limits...?

Thank you, Amulya...but I've actually been contacted by a tribal instructor in the area....and I've started taking tribal classes here as a prep, so that I won't be completely lost when I get there...

I'd love to meet as many in the dance community as I can while I'm there, tho...I'll still be on tribe while I'm there...so I'll be in touch...

        Hi Rebekah,
If you want to continue with the cabaret style, check out the AMED (Academy of Middle-Eastern dance) website, they have a number of teachers in different areas around Brisbane and they are all very good.
If you want to continue with Tribal, Then maybe the teacher who contacted you was Dee from 'Tribal Blossoms'?...if not then check them out too.
        Might see you around!
        :-)

Yes, it was Dee...and I'm planning on contacting her just before I leave to come over...and then probably about a week after I get there...(time to get settled in, and all) ...I plan on trying to start classes...I'm really looking forward to it...

Thanks so much for your help...and as I said...I'd love to meet some of the local dancers...so I'll be in touch...:-)
